Camp Cards

CAMP CARDS

The Camp Card is a program that has proven to be successful within the Boy Scouts of America.  Camp Cards are discount cards that offer discounts at several local retailers.  Each camp card is sold for $10, with 50% going to the unit and 50% going to the Council.  Units are encouraged to use these funds to ensure that every Scout can attend summer camp; the council's portion covers the cost of production, securing sponsors, promotional materials, and supports camping and other operations for Scouting year-round.

With several retailers on board including Bass Pro Shops, Walgreens, Western Sizzlin', and Boomerang Carwash to name a few, this years sale is off to a great start!  The sale begins February 1st, 2013  and Ends April 30th, 2013 with monies due by May 13th, 2013 to receive the full 50% commission.  This gives units over 3 months to sell and close out their accounts.

Unit participation in the camp card program is RISK FREE - unsold camp cards can simply be returned to the Council by May 13th with no penalty.

Download our Camp Card Leader Guide here.

Each Scout that sells 300 Camp Cards can sign up to win our grand prize Apple iPad 16GB or a handheld GPS.  There will also be wekly drawings as well.  Scouts will receive one entry for every 25 cards sold for the weekly drawings.

To cap it off, any Unit that sells a minimum of 500 Camp Cards will receive an additional 50 Camp Cards for the unit to sell at 100% profit.  Thats an additional $500 bonus to the unit.  Simply fill out the Unit Commitment Card to let us know that your unit will be participating in the Camp Card Sale!
